About
Charity Registration
The Vernon Mine Warfare and Diving Monument campaign is a Charitable Trust, registered by the Charity Commission for England and Wales, number 1128677.
Annual reports are submitted to the Commission by the Trustees, including an independent examination of the accounts. Since first registration, all accounts have passed inspection, without fault.
All submissions, of audited or inspected accounts and the respective Trustees Annual Returns, have been submitted within the Charity Commission’s scheduled timeline and have been fully accepted, without query, each year.
The Board of Trustees represents the sponsoring Associations and includes independent members, to provide objectivity and transparency. The Board meets at least twice per year to determine strategy, review progress and approve spending.
The Chief Executive Officer is the founder of the organisation, acts as the Point of Contact for the Charity Commission and is the Project Manager for the campaign.
