Tiger Tails prints

The Trustees of The Vernon Monument Charitable Trust have recently commissioned a second original oil painting by our official artist, John R. Terry, entitled "Tiger Tails", to be sold to raise funds for the Vernon Monument Project Fund. The picture will depict a clearance diving team, maneouvring in a Gemini dinghy, 250 metres ahead of a Ton Class minehunter. The minewarfare specialists on board the parent ship, having located a mine on the seabed below using sonar, guide the divers in the direction of their target mine, by adjusting the conspicuous optical guidance device on the bridge roof: the "Tiger Tails"...

Preliminary sketches of this painting will be available for viewing soon, on this web page.The intention is to publish a series of 850 collectable prints, as per "Danger At Depth". A more select range of 95 Artist’s Proofs, with an overprint of two sketches, will be signed not only by the artist but also by three service specialists.



Double Remarque
A further, exclusive edition of 10 Double Remarque prints are offered for sale with two, individual illustrations drawn by the artist. These unique pictures, for the more discerning collector, in landscape format, will be signed not only by the three service specialists as per the Artist's Proof, but also by the Head of each of the three Associations sponsoring Project Vernon, to guarantee each picture's technical accuracy and authenticity.
Both frame and mount will be bespoke, made of premium materials, reflecting the individuality of each finished picture.
